Kate lives and works in NYC as a full-time professional actor. Last Fall, she was awarded “Best Ensemble” by the Kevin Kline Awards for her role of Theresa in Circle, Mirror, Transformation at St. Louis Rep, and previously nominated for “Best Lead Actress” by the NYIT Awards for her role as Irene in Bill C. Davis’ Avow. In the TV world, Kate held a recurring role as Jersey-wife Heather Flanagan in NBC’s “Mercy”,  and was seen on “Law & Order” as Paula Carvahal, guest artist. She has worked with TACT on the Off-Broadway revival of The Late Christopher Bean and the recent world premiere of Pratfalls. Kate just closed very successful runs  of Boeing Boeing and Noises Off at Dorset Theatre Festival,  Perfect Wedding at GEVA, and The Importance of Being Earnest at The Summit Playhouse. Kate graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, and grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. When not performing, she heads up 7-yr old non-profit theater company, Ground UP Productions, based in the West Village.
