Kate lives and works in NYC as a full-time professional actor. Recently, she closed a very successful production of PERFECT WEDDING at Cape Playhouse, A FEW GOOD MEN at Pioneer Theatre Company, and BELL BOOK AND CANDLE in downtown NYC. Last year, she was awarded “Best Ensemble” by the Kevin Kline Awards for her role of Theresa in CIRCLE, MIRROR, TRANSFORMATION at St. Louis Rep, and previously for “Best Lead Actress” by the NYIT Awards for her role as Irene in Bill C. Davis’ AVOW. In the TV world, Kate held a recurring role as Jersey-wife Heather Flanagan in NBC’s “Mercy”,  and has been seen various times on “Law & Order”. She has worked with TACT on the Off-Broadway revival of THE LATE CHRISTOPHER BEAN and the recent world premiere of PRATFALLS at The Abingdon. Kate closed runs of BOEING BOEING and NOISES OFF at Dorset Theatre Festival,  and PERFECT WEDDING at GEVA. Kate graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, and grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. When not performing, she heads up 9-yr old non-profit theater company, Ground UP Productions, based in the West Village.

     She will be appearing this Fall at 59E59 St. in the premiere production of Mac Rogers’ (HONEYCOMB TRILOGY, FRANKENSTEIN UPSTAIRS, and VIRAL) ASYMMETRIC running November 15th-December 6th. Hope you can join us for this spy/romance thriller!
