Kate lives and works in NYC as a full-time professional actor. Recently, she closed a very successful downtown revival of BELL BOOK AND CANDLE at the Gene Frankel Theatre in the role of Gillian. Last Fall, she was awarded “Best Ensemble” by the Kevin Kline Awards for her role of Theresa in CIRCLE, MIRROR, TRANSFORMATION at St. Louis Rep, and previously nominated for “Best Lead Actress” by the NYIT Awards for her role as Irene in Bill C. Davis’ AVOW. In the TV world, Kate held a recurring role as Jersey-wife Heather Flanagan in NBC’s “Mercy”,  and was seen on “Law & Order” as Paula Carvahal. She has worked with TACT on the Off-Broadway revival of THE LATE CHRISTOPHER BEAN and the recent world premiere of PRATFALLS at The Abingdon. Kate closed runs of BOEING BOEING and NOISES OFF at Dorset Theatre Festival,  and PERFECT WEDDING at GEVA. Kate graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, and grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. When not performing, she heads up 8-yr old non-profit theater company, Ground UP Productions, based in the West Village.
